Many thanks Nick!!

We're glad we can help out where and when we can. Obviously, donations are very helpful and appreciated. We understand that donations are not always possible - especially for other non-profit organizations. For your information, donations we receive are primarily used to help fund two annual STEM scholarships, and upgrades to our communication capabilities every few years.

Please also know that supporting organizations and events such as the MD HEAT is a win-win. In addition to helping you by providing communications and information, the event provides a great opportunity for our folks to practice skills that could be used in a severe storm or similar situation should the need arise.

We're glad to be of service to you and look forward to supporting you in the future.

Best regards and thanks again!

Thanks again for CARA's HAM services - I hope it keeps you in tip top operational shape!

Md HEAT Race and it's 501c3 would like to extend a donation to your org. You mentioned materials or a student scholarship - I will let you decide - if your in a mode of needing certain equipment, do this. If not, give it to the kids.

The amount to be donated is $541.20.

Please let me know how we can get this to you. Does the org have a PayPal account? If not, we can write a check.

Regards, -Nick Yeates 4Life, MD HEAT Race

Hi! I checked the figures from the boxes I sent for Free to Run. We collected 61 pairs of women's shoes and some good winter running clothes as well. (Some of this was also donated at the Annapolis 10 miler expo.). We sent eight boxes to Massachusetts, which cost in total $233.80 minus $75 from a friend = $158.80 in shipping fees.

Many thx to your emergency persons attending our md heat race on sat.

I didn't get to speak with them, as I ran the race for my first time. I saw them grabbing some grub! Let them know thanks.

The MD HEAT Race would like to show its thanks for years of Howard County Emergency coordination by DONATING some of our funds to assist your goals or interests. Maybe for new equipment, or a particular program. It's not much, but hopefully it can help somewhere!

Herman, ask around and let me know what options we might have!

Also, can you FWD this email to Keith if you have his email? I'd like to hear Keith's ideas too.

Regards, -Nick Yeates

Nick you are welcome. Elkridge would be happy to accept a donation to go towards the purchase of our new Firehouse. Checks can be made out to the Elkridge Volunteer Fire Department. Our address is 6275 Old Washington Road Elkridge MD 21075.

Regards, Herman

Nick, thanks for your note. Hope you enjoyed the race. The weather seemed pretty favorable. We did get a chance to speak with your Dad and he is always gracious and welcoming.

I absolutely agree with Herman's suggestion of a check toward our new station. The volunteer organization is partnering with the county in sharing some of the construction costs and your contribution will be greatly welcomed and appreciated.

Have a great day. Keith
